Why should I hire a professional videographer for my wedding?
-Most Brides tell me that they didn't see, or can't remember, much of what
happened on their wedding day. That's why they're thankful they'd asked me
to capture their wedding on video. Your husband-to-be just before the
ceremony... The emotions on the faces of your family as you walk down the
aisle... Your vows... Your toast and first dance... These are the moments
you'll want to cherish and remember for as long as you live.
Still photographers are able to capture very high resolution images that
capture all the detail of a moment in time. But, your still photos won't capture
the sounds, action and emotions of these brief flashes of time.
Professionally produced video will - and, as the years go by, your wedding
video will become a priceless living record for you and your children. Your
wedding day will only happen once in your life. Since videography captures
so many aspects of the wedding not captured by still photography, don't
regret not having your precious memories preserved in a way that you can
experience over and over. Couples and parents often tell me that the best
money they spent was on their wedding video and that they are glad they
made the decision to have one.
Are you the one who will be videotaping my wedding?
-Make sure you speak to the person who will actually videotape your wedding.
Many larger studios use free-lancers, and it is important to speak with the
actual videographer ahead of time to make sure you get everything you want
and to make sure you are comfortable with the videographer.

How can I see samples of your work?
-Be sure you are seeing samples of the actual videographer who will be
videotaping your wedding. This is especially important when dealing with
larger studios that may have several crews that they send out on the
weekend. Some videographers will send out demo tapes and other will ask
you to schedule an appointment to visit them. Some videographers have
video clips (called streaming video) on their website where you can view
their work while you are on the Internet. If possible, try to meet with the
videographer before you sign the contract.

What other services or special effects do you offer?
-This allows the videographer to talk about what else they offer and how they
may differ from other videographers. Some examples are childhood/dating
photo montage, wedding/honeymoon photo montage, bridal preparations,
love story video (the two of you describing how you met, etc.), short-form
video, highlight video, recap video, concept video, rehearsal coverage, big
screen presentation, etc. This is also a good time to ask the videographer if
they use special effects such as black & white, sephia-toned, slow-motion,
animations, etc. There are many options to choose from!

What will you charge to videotape my wedding based on the coverage I am
looking for?
-If you are on a certain budget, let the videographer know that upfront. If you
budget is flexible, wait to ask about pricing until you have explained to the
videographer what you are looking for and after the videographer has talked
about skill, equipment and service... A professional videographer with
up-to-date digital HD cameras and non-linear editing can start arounf $2000.
Some more seasoned professional offering many extras can charge
upwards of $5000 and more. These prices are only a guideline as pricing
can vary region to region. It is hard to put a price on talent unless you view
their work. Remember, your videographer is creating a family
heirloom.

I have heard that wedding video is very expensive and it can take 6 to 12 months
for a wedding film, is this true?
-Not with me! Good wedding video doesn't have to be expensive, it just has to be
good. For today's more discerning, sophisticated clients, videographer Dragan
Bozorovic provides true unobtrusive journalistic coverage. Wedding filmmaker
Dragan sets the standard in timeless documentary style, unparalleled classical
productions skills, and tasteful editing techniques. Making wedding films as a
full-time career not only means my videos start at just $990, but I'll get to work on
it immediately, and have your videos to you in a two or three weeks after the
wedding!

What is raw footage?
-Raw footage is the term used to describe the footage of film / video that has NOT
been edited or color corrected.  It is the footage right out of the camera.  Most
raw footage will not only include the moments of the day but also include the
moments when a camera is being focused, moved, or used to setup audio.  In
many cases the audio will be unusable or non existent do to the configuration of a
particular camera.  Since these things go on throughout the day, it is likely that
couples will find the raw footage littered with un-watchable moments.

Will I get my raw footage?
-Much the way a painter uses paint, brushes and canvas to create a work of art
out of a vision, we use raw footage, editing magic, color correcting and filters
along with a heavy dose of audio sweetening and music to create your wedding
day film.  Raw footage by itself contains many moments that are simply not
watchable.  I go to great lengths to include footage from all of your moments
within your wedding day film.  For an additional cost I can provide a lightly edited
version of raw footage that has had these unwatchable moments removed.

Does it matter how many cameras you use?
-Couples often compare companies by the amount of cameras that are included in
the packages.  I approach your wedding day film from the stand point that it is a
work of art and I am the artists who will create it for you.  My clients have chosen
me because of my end product rather than the amount of cameras that are
included.  Rest assured that I will use enough cameras to produce your wedding
film in  award winning style.

How do you decide what music to use?
-Typically, I have a few of my favs that just seem to work, and then my clients
offer me many choices via my pre-wedding planner worksheet and simply by
listening to the music played at the reception so ultimately it ends up being a
blend of these different sources.

What is the difference between a wedding video and a wedding film?
-The term wedding video has been used to describe just about any video that
includes footage from a wedding.  Some wedding video is poorly produced with
little value to the bride and groom while other wedding video is very nice and will
provide a wonderful documentation of the day.  The term wedding film refers to an
end product that is created with the use of cinematic techniques  that mimic the
look and feel of a Hollywood style movie.  Wedding films are truly a work of art
and create an emotional experience for the viewer to relive the wedding day.
Typically a wedding film is far more entertaining than a wedding video.

Do you deliver in HD?
-I shoot in High Definition and deliver in High Definition using Sony Vegas Pro and
Blu-ray technology.  It is important to know however that, although Blu-ray is
becoming more popular with the consumer market, there are still many
incompatibility issues that need to be addressed before you can be assured that
your Blu-ray wedding film will play in your Blu-ray player.

What about the contract?
-When you decide to hire the videographer, ask to see a copy of the contract. Ask
how much of a deposit is required and when the remaining balance is due. Make
sure everything you want in your wedding video is spelled out. As it gets closer to
your wedding day, the videographer should request a "planing meeting" either
over the phone or in person. Most videographers are hired six months to one year
in advance, so you need to make sure nothing has changed. Ask your
videographer if they will attend your rehearsal - some videographers attend,
some do not. It should also state when you
will get your finished video.

Can I get more than one copy of my wedding film?
-Yes you can!  You will typically receive 3 copies as part of your wedding film and I
frequently get  asked to duplicate
additional copies.

Please, feel free to give me a call if you have additional questions. Thanks.
